On ice maximum grip and driving comfort is of fundamental importance.
With this aim, Maggi Group has developed a new snow chain generation with exclusive and patented devices which create a higher level of grip and therefore greater reassurance for the motorist.
The most recent evolution in Maggi research is the cross element link with pentagonal section, made in manganese alloy steel, case hardened and zinc plated.
The pentagonal section link gives increased traction due to greater adherence to both the tyre and ground surfaces. Additionally, every link of cross element is kept in direct contact with the road doubling adherence compared with traditional chain design. The Rotofix device and cross element shape contribute to better performance and comfort, using Maggi’s knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing processes in a complete patented system.
