ICE BLOK features a unique pentagonal link designed by Maggi to improve the grip between chain and ground by increasing the contact area. This increased contact area also ensures a more even wear of the metal and extends the life of the chain.

SPACE-SAVING TECHNOLOGY
ICE BLOK is considerably smaller than a traditional chain. The cable fitted behind the wheel, measuring only 8mm, and the unique shape of the links ensure a neater folding of the ICE BLOK snow chain before storing it in the case provided, also very small and easily manageable in the boot of the car all year round.

OUTSTANDING GRIP WITH MINIMUM WEAR
ICE BLOK has been specifically engineered to multiply the traction effect by optimizing all parts of the chain which affect the contact between chain and ground. This has led to the design of a new shape and layout of the links, based on three advanced concepts: 45° link rotation, odd number of links in each section and pentagonal shape. This has resulted in a wider contact area and higher traction.
